That premise led to MediChip™ — a patented, biodegradable drug-delivery platform that places therapy at the tumor site and releases it locally over weeks. Built from advanced biomaterials using 3D printing, MediChip™ is engineered to cut systemic exposure while sustaining treatment exactly where it's needed.

Since founding, BioSapien has moved from scientific concept to clinical-stage company. We've completed GMP manufacturing, cleared IND, built a global patent portfolio, and secured backing from life sciences global investors. MediChip™-5-FU is now entering first-in-human study in locally advanced rectal cancer.

Cancer is the starting point, not the boundary. The underlying principle applies wherever medicine is needed: deliver it where it's required, for as long as it's required, and nowhere else.
